It’s a game of skill that’s a little bit of both air hockey and foosball. Now take this in the game room and pipe down, will you!
Klask is easy to play but requires some skill to be successful. Players use a magnetic pole to hit a ball across the game board and try to get it in their opponent’s goal. Conversely, they can use the same pole to block their opponent’s shots on their own goal. To further add difficulty, the center line of the board has magnets on it, causing the direction of the ball to change if you’re not extremely precise.

Klask was created by a Danish inventor in 2013. He had an abundance of magnets in his home that he was trying to be creative with. A little cardboard and a lot of imagination later, and the prototype for Klask was born! This game has gained incredible popularity since then, ranking as the #1 party game of 2015 in both Sweden and Norway. Its popularity has made it a desired game the world around!
A long way from its roots, the modern version of Klask is much more refined than its humble beginnings. The magnetic board is framed with a real wood frame, which has feet to support Klask on a table. At 14.5 x 6.2 x 19.5 inches it’s also probably the only foosball table you can easily bring to a friend’s house! It comes fully assembled, so you can play right out of the box, wherever you are.
Players use two black strikers, which are guided from under the board using magnets. These strikers allow each player to hit the ball and defend their goal. A yellow ball is tossed back and forth between players looking to score, by sinking the ball into their opponent’s goal. The goal is just a rounded hole at each end of the board. Three white magnets, or “biscuits” line the center field, adding another layer of difficulty in navigating the ball where you desire.
The first player to 6 goals wins! There are score markers along the side of the board, with a blue chip that slides along each side for scoring. Games take roughly 10 minutes on average to complete. You can even set up a tournament with your friends and family!
Klask is great for both children and adults alike. It’s a fun, simple game to play, but it holds enough challenge to keep you entertained much like a traditional skill toy.
