The monsters are all small Yeti-esque creatures in a variety of colors. Pink, blue, orange, and purple are some of the more common hues. Each has its own unique look and facial expressions!

Here is how you open I Dig Monsters:
- Open the plastic outer container and then remove the popsicle-shaped block from within
- Slice, peel, or grate the material away to reveal the monster in the middle
Each I Dig Monsters toy comes with two plastic multi-tools to assist, but I won’t blame you if you just grab the cheese grater from the kitchen.
What is I Dig Monster made of?
An I Dig Monster is made of water wax, which is mostly water, combined with some polysaccharide cellulose. It’s a compound seen elsewhere in car and hair care products. You’ll find the consistency similar to a gelatin in that it’s cool, jiggly, and slightly slimy to the touch.
The monster within is made of standard molded plastic. The outer coating is designed to be removed and thrown away – do not ingest. A couple included stamp cutter charms also allow you to create fun cutout shapes from the popsicle material as you go if you’d like.
It’s a fun time, and the cool, smooth material makes for a great sensory experience!
