How long does it take to excavate a gem block?
A gem block takes approximately 10-15 minutes to excavate on average. Depending on the age and skill level of your child, this time may be greater or less than your personal experience.
Note that soaking the blocks in water for 10-30 minutes ahead of time will make it easier to excavate. It will still be a challenge and require chipping, though, as they don’t become truly soft from water.
