The FOBO Bike 2 pressure monitoring system is a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) designed specifically for two wheeled vehicles. While a motorcycle is probably the most common use, it’s also great for bicycles, smart bikes, ebikes, or dirt bikes.
These FOBO pressure monitors are installed on the exterior of your bike wheels. Once mounted, they provide real-time data on both tire pressure and temperature. The sensor transmits to your smartphone via Bluetooth connection, whenever you are in range (around 30 feet). That means you’re covered while you’re riding, but also can easily check on the status before hopping on!
You’ll receive an instant alert anytime something seems wrong. FOBO can send audio, haptic, and text alerts to your phone. It also works with a smart watch or a Bluetooth headset so you can safely keep your eyes on the road. The sensor detects both slow and fast leaks, as well as alerting to other anomalies. While it can’t stop your tire from deflating, it can let you know it’s happening so you pull over safely, sooner!
Installation requires no wiring, drilling, or programming. Simply unscrew your existing valve cap, and add the FOBO Bike 2 TPMS in its place. Metal stems are recommended, though they will fit on rubber stems as well. The sensor works on most styles of wheel – spoked included. They add about 1/2” to the valve stem length once installed. The app lets you customize your vehicle’s specifications, ideal psi, and alert levels. Even if you change tires or vehicle down the road, you can take your FOBO Bike 2 with you!
