A faucet glass rinser is worth it as an addition to any kitchen sink, particularly if you wash a lot of glasses. It boasts the same high pressure that a sprayer offers, but contains, directs, and drains the water without making a mess. It also works well on vases and similar narrow glass objects.

Simply depress the rinser using the glass, and it will project the water up into the glass. As the water falls back down, it’s caught by the pool around the nozzle, and then drained right into your sink.
For very narrow neck bottles, you’ll want to make sure you position them directly over the nozzle heads to avoid water spraying out.
Where do you put a glass rinser?
Put a glass rinser on your sink in place of a:
- Soap dispenser
- Sprayer
- Hole cover
If those are not available on your sink, drill a 13/16″ hole into the sink rim or countertop where you want to place it.
The rinser needs 2” of clearance on all sides of the hole to fit and must be no more than 2.25” overall from the edge of the sink for drainage.
A 3/8” supply line and T adapter connects the rinser to your existing hot or cold water lines – your choice. I personally prefer hot as it helps to dislodge stubborn debris better. However, cold is more energy conscious.
