In short: The Gonge River stones are a very comparable product, and I like that they offer the additional hilltop-style tall stone, which appeals to larger kids. However, the lower weight limit means that as an adult, I can’t play on them with the kids.
While the color options are similar, they still lack in textural variety and sizes. Paired with the fact that they’re slightly more expensive, I just don’t feel they’re worth it over the JumpOff Jo.

Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a toy that is enjoyable indoors and outdoors, encourages active play, and helps kids develop, then I do recommend these balance stepping stones. No shame, I kind of enjoy playing the floor is lava on them alongside the kids!
Understandably, they are lightweight for kids to manage, but I wish they had some more “heft” to them for the price. I do wish they came with a carrying case or bag to make them more easily storable and portable. While they stack, it can be a pain trying to grab them all.
