You know, I always loved the Mouse Trap board game as a kid. I just thought there was something awesome about watching the marble roll down the track. A marble run set is all the best parts of the game, and I can still build it as an adult!
The purpose of a marble run is to create a track that allows a marble to roll from a starting point to an ending point. A variety of steps, levers, and turns make for interesting and interchangeable design. It focuses on creativity and ingenuity to accomplish each design.
