The Lightning Reaction game is a shocking game designed for 4 players. You play by holding one of four controllers. A randomly timed light in the middle of the board will turn from red to green. When it’s green, the last one to pull the trigger on their controller gets a shock.

This Lightning Reaction game is the shocking game you need at your next get together! It’s designed to be played by 2-4 players and is focused on reaction time instead of luck or skill.
Playing the game is simple in premise. When the base indicates, pull the trigger on your controller. If you’re the last one to pull it, you receive a shock.
This shocking game is great for teens and adults, but please be aware it is not recommended for children under 14 years of age. Since it does deliver an actual electric shock, avoid playing with the elderly or anyone with a pacemaker as well.

How do you play the Lightning Reaction game?
Here’s how to play the Lightning Reaction game:
- Each player grabs one of the four handles from the base
- Hit the button in the center and a red light begins to blink, while playing suspenseful music
- When the center light turns green, press the trigger button as quickly as possible
- The last person to hit the trigger gets an electric shock!
Note that if you press the button too soon (before the center turns green) you’ll also get a shock. There’s no reward for itchy trigger fingers!
Play as many rounds as you like, or up to a maximum number of zaps. I personally prefer a “best of 5 rounds” format. This shocking game is great for hours of fun and laughs as you and your friends get zapped!
For even more fun, turn on Lightning Reaction Reloaded’s extreme mode, where everyone except the first to press the trigger gets a jolt!
What is the voltage of the Lightning Reaction Reloaded game?
The voltage of Lightning Reaction Reloaded is a maximum of about 4.5 Volts. This is based on the fully charged capacity of the 3 AAA batteries that power the game.
The Lightning Reaction Reloaded game features a variable shock control which offers a low, medium and high setting. You can adjust depending just how brave you are (though we recommend starting on low and working your way up)!
Note that the AAA batteries are not included and are required to operate. This shocking game is not compatible with AC power.
