What are yinz talking about in here? You want an Advent calendar? Didn’t you know that Advent calendars are for Christmas? Check your calendar. It’s not December, so it’s not time for Advent. You’re telling me it’s a 13 Day Funko Halloween Advent calendar? Well let’s start counting down to Halloween!
The Advent calendar was created as a way to count down the days until Christmas, spanning the 24 days before it in the month. Advent calendars have gained such popularity though, that they have been created for many other holidays as well. Since the number of days leading up to the event can be different, they are commonly referred to as countdown calendars. These countdown calendars offer small gifts to celebrate each day before another holiday, such as Halloween, Easter, or Thanksgiving.
This Funko Halloween Advent calendar is full of frights, thrills, and chills!
Funko, a leading manufacturer of collectible pop culture vinyl figures, has created this fantastic Halloween Advent calendar. It’s a 13-day countdown calendar, which given the connotation that the number thirteen has, seems perfect for Halloween. That’s right, the spookiest countdown of the year ends on All Hallows Eve itself!
This countdown calendar features small boxes to be opened, one on each night leading up to Halloween. The spooky Funko edition functions the same as a Christmas Advent calendar. But, instead of treats and toys, this calendar is filled with your favorite Hollywood horror icons!
Contained within the Advent calendar boxes are 13 different Funko Pocket Pop characters. The Pocket Pop series is their smaller figurines, each averaging about 1.5” tall. They make adorable figurines to display, or if you’re crafty you can convert them into a keychain or other small decorative piece.
While we can’t spoil all the surprises, you might see a few familiar faces in this countdown. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. So dull, in fact, that he might be hiding out in a countdown box.
If you’ve ever taken a nighttime drive down Elm Street, you might find another familiar face lurking in the shadows. Or, if you happen to have misplaced your Handbook for the Recently Deceased you might find help waiting behind one of the doors.
Countdown calendars are a fun gift for the whole family! Children will delight in the fun surprises behind each door. Any fans of Halloween and horror will love the collectible figures that come in this calendar. It’s a great way to count the days to Halloween and enjoy a treat other than candy!
