The Sharper Image LED electronic word clock is both beautiful décor and a functional clock. This square clock is covered in words, making it look a bit like a word jumble puzzle. When the LED lights come on though, you’ll instantly know that it’s actually a clock! The lights illuminate the appropriate words to spell out the time for you. An example would be ‘it is ten minutes to eight’ with each of the words lighting up individually.
As time progresses, the clock will illuminate different words accordingly to adjust. Please note that this clock only updates on 5 minute intervals. Additionally, the “o’clock” light will only light up at the top of the hour, and the rest of the increments will display the time only.
Adjusting your light up electronic clock is simple. Advance and reverse buttons allow you to adjust the time as needed. There is no automatic adjustment for Daylight Savings time, since not all locations worldwide observe it. Additionally, no battery backup is included, so if power goes out you may need to readjust your clock. This electronic clock is powered by an included USB cable.
