How do you clean oil and vinegar cruets?
Cleaning Vucchini oil and vinegar cruets is very easy. Simply unscrew the lid, and place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. The glass base is bottom rack dishwasher safe. On top, the black cap is removable by depressing the eyes, if cleaning is needed within the mechanism.
If you choose to hand wash your olive oil dispenser bottle, use hot water with a grease cutting dish soap for best results. If you use your cruet for vinegar and the smell is persisting, sprinkle baking soda in to neutralize the scent. Then, wash as normal.
