You want a unicorn for your birthday? Well, I’m fresh out of them unfortunately. How about a Creatto unicorn kit that we can build together? We’ll have our own sparkly unicorn in no time, and as a bonus, we don’t have to feed it!
The Creatto unicorn kit is a 3D puzzle kit composed of interlocking sheets that form a character. While the unicorn is the primary feature of this kit, you can create a variety of other shapes as well. Add the included lights to your finished model for extra sparkle.

The Creatto unicorn kit comes with everything you need to make your very own 3D unicorn at home. Each kit contains 141 puzzle pieces in mostly white and purple translucent shades.
In addition, 80 LED fairy lights are included to add to your finished model. The unicorn kit is powered by a USB plug, but note that a wall adapter is not included.
Make that unicorn into the ultimate decoration, perfect for pillow forts or as a night light! If you’re handy, it’s lightweight enough to be hung for display. I mean, who wouldn’t want a dazzling unicorn hanging over their bed?

Note that the kit only contains enough pieces for one of these creatures at a time. Once you’ve created one, you’ll need to disassemble the components to rebuild them as something different.

How long does it take to finish a Creatto unicorn puzzle?
It should take approximately 45-60 minutes to finish the Creatto unicorn 3D puzzle.
This is build time only and does not include preparation. Before you start, you’ll want to punch out all the puzzle pieces from their backings and sort them by shape. When you include this step, expect it to take at least an hour and a half.
How do you do a Creatto unicorn puzzle?
Here is how to do a Creatto unicorn puzzle:
- Separate all the pieces and sort by color and shape
- Push the cross-shaped connector pieces into the body pieces, following the illustrated model for color placement
- Make sure they click all the way in to secure the pieces
- Once you complete the flat version of a section, you will need to bend the plastic to form the 3D shape
- Secure with the adjacent sections
- Repeat until your figure is complete
The trickiest pieces will be the final row of the model, as you’ll be joining two sides of the 3D shape together. Just work slowly and carefully and you’ll have your unicorn done in no time.
Feel free to feed in the lights before placing the final pieces to save hassle afterwards. While they can be added to the finished model, you’ll have a hard time distributing them evenly.
This puzzle is an exercise in both patience and motor skills, but encourages creativity with a gorgeous finished project!
