You can use any color, but black or white are the most common. You’ll want to cure it under a UV lamp for 60 seconds to set the base. Next, wipe down your cured nails with an alcohol or other cleaning wipe, just to reduce the tacky surface. Then, apply your chosen Born Pretty watercolor blooming polish to the nail. Once you’ve applied the colors and they start to bloom, you can smudge it with the transparent blooming color to finish the watercolor or marbling effect.
Let your color layer dry for about 60 seconds just to make sure it’s set. Then, if you’d like to add any nail art stickers or stamps, go ahead and do so. Once your look is just the way you want it, seal it with a clear gel top coat and cure it. Please note that your base and top coat must be gel polish for this effect to work.
