I really wish we could play disc golf, but I don’t feel like going out today. Too bad there’s not an alternative game that we can play at home. Yinz got me something called Star Wars Spring Slam to play? Well, invite the neighbors over, and let’s party!
Spring Slam is a game similar to Kan Jam, but features a collapsible goal made of a nylon or fabric material instead of rigid plastic. The rules are nearly identical, with the goal being to throw a disc through an opening in the goal. Spring Slam is meant to be played outdoors by four players total, split into two teams.

Star Wars Spring Slam brings R2-D2 to your backyard for a party! In the storage bag, you’ll find two collapsible goals. Made of a soft nylon material, they pop up into a can shape with a rounded rectangular opening on the front. Secure the cans to the ground with 4 included plastic ground stakes (2 per can), and you’re ready to play.
Playing Star Wars Spring Slam is simple. Two teams of two people take turns throwing the disc towards each other’s Astromech Droid goals. The included disk is a metallic R2-D2 themed frisbee weighing about 5 ounces. One team member throws the Star Wars disc towards the goal while their teammate is in charge of deflecting and slamming the frisbee into the goal. Different points are awarded based on the way in which you succeed in depositing the disc. The included directions for Spring Slam will be your guide to keeping score, and the first team to reach 21 points wins. If you really excel at hand-eye coordination, note that an unassisted shot directly into the R2-D2 goal slot automatically wins the game!
