This Nintendo Switch light up dock shield is the perfect solution to add both light and design to a standard Switch dock. LED lights power the panels and offer up to 17 different color and pattern combinations for the lights. The dock shield comes with two different panel design choices, one featuring Super Mario Odyssey and one featuring Zelda designs. The panels are interchangeable, so you can switch back and forth any time you like!
The light up dock shield is an officially licensed product made by PDP. It works with your existing Nintendo Switch dock (not included). Setting up your light up dock shield is easy, and requires no material modifications to your Switch dock. Simply place your existing Nintendo Switch dock on top of the included dock shield base. Then, connect the dock shield base to the Switch dock via an included USB cable for power. Finally, place your desired dock shield on the front of the dock shield base which sits in front of the Switch dock’s front panel. Note that you’ll need to remove the protective blue plastic coasting from the dock shields before the first use.
That’s all you’ll have to do, and your dock shields are ready to go! Turn them on and off any time with the toggle button on the base. The dock shield base has separate controls from the actual Switch dock, so even if you turn the lights on the shield off, it won’t power off your Switch.
