Halloween is coming around the corner! It’s time to start decorating with our ghoulish decorations before Santa makes his appearance! In addition to my standard pumpkins and corn stalks, I bought these awesome glowing witch hats for the yard.
Making a floating, hanging witch hat is simple. First, use a needle or other sharp object to poke through the top of your witch hat. Take a piece of dark string or fishing line and run it through the hole. Ensure that you tie off the string inside the hat so it can hold up its hanging weight. Either tie a large knot that won’t slip through the hole opening, wrap the string around a washer, or tie it off around a safety pin. Finally, make a loop and tie the top end of your string around the nail, pin, or post you wish to suspend your witch hat.
