Giant 10′ Bungee Trampoline for Backyard Jumping Fun
When I was a kid, it felt like a right of passage to get cut by rusty springs on a trampoline. Looking back, that may have been one of my worst decisions to play on one. This new bungee trampoline jump solves that age-old conundrum in an innovative way!
A bungee trampoline jump is the same bouncing platform that is typical of backyard play toys. However, instead of using exposed metal springs to provide the bounce, this version uses bungee cords. They provide a similar bounce experience, while reducing pinches, scrapes, and other injuries.
The backyard bungee trampoline jump brings a childhood classic into a modern, safer version!
I can’t even begin to recall how many times the trampolines of my childhood roughed me up somehow. Thankfully, the bungee trampoline offers all the same fun with less of the associated pain!
This unique jumping system uses bungee cords under the trampoline base to provide all the same bouncing action with none of the associated pinches, scrapes, and cuts.
The 10 foot wide jumping platform allows for you to perfect all sorts of jumping and aerial stunts. I’m still working on perfecting that backflip! The edges of the platform are covered in PVC padding though, just in case you miscalculate that jump.
A unique, angled, bowl-like design around the edges offers additional options for acrobatics. Spring from a handstand and stick the landing in the middle! It also serves as a guideline to assist you in not getting too close to the edge. Whacking a metal bar still hurts, after all.
Nine arms reach towards the sky to hold up a safety net. After all, I have to make sure the little ones and the dog don’t get unsuspectingly launched off the trampoline.
A 4-step ladder with handlebars helps you climb up into the trampoline. Yes, Dad, it comes off easily when not needed so you don’t have to mow around the thing.
All of the materials on the bungee trampoline are weather resistant, so it’s safe for outdoor use and storage. In fact, the feet of the frame have a skid-resistant coating to prevent sliding if things are slick. So, whether it’s in the yard, on the patio, or in a designated play space, you’re covered.
How does a bungee trampoline work?
A bungee trampoline works by creating tension between the jumping platform and the frame of the trampoline using bungee cords. A total of 136 cords bridge between the two, threading through grommets on the base and connectors around the frame.
Much like a bungee cord functions during a bungee jump, they flex, expand, and retract to create a bouncing motion. With no springs, you’ll experience a quieter – and safer – jumping experience.
Is there a bungee trampoline weight limit?
Yes, the bungee trampoline weight limit is 275 pounds.
On average, this is one adult, two teens, or 3-5 children.
