Pokémon Waffle Maker – The Poké Ball Breakfast of Trainers
Are you kids done playing Pokémon GO and ready to come have some breakfast? Yes, your mom is making her patented Poké Ball waffles in the Pokémon Waffle Maker. Whatever you do, don’t throw your waffles at the dog! How many times do I have to tell you that Sparky is NOT a Pokémon! I wish you got as excited for broccoli as you get for Pokémon. Who am I kidding? No one wants to eat broccoli.
Waffle makers are kitchen appliances designed for making perfectly shaped and cooked waffles. However, waffle makers can be used for many other creative waffled foods as well. Waffle makers can be used on cookies, brownies, grilled cheese, quesadillas, pizza, biscuits, and more.
The Pokémon Waffle Maker lets you cook Poké Ball waffles for breakfast in a few simple steps!
Make Poké Ball waffles hot from your Pokémon waffle maker with simple instructions.
- Plug in the waffle maker, and observe the 2 rear lights. The first indicates power, and the second lets you know when the waffle iron reaches the perfect temperature
- Next, prepare your favorite batter. Adjust for your household’s dietary needs, or try out this Belgian Waffle recipe.
- Pour batter over the bottom Poké Ball non-stick mold while just covering the bottom plate design. If you spray a little Pam on the bottom, it also helps with the release.
- Close the lid, and the rear heating light will turn off until your waffle is cooked.
- In 4 to 5 minutes, retrieve your delicious breakfast treat. Feel free to leave it an extra minute or two if you like a browner, crisper waffle.
This waffle maker will easily create waffles shaped like a real Poké Ball. They won’t come out in that iconic red and white color all on their own though. You can tint half your batter red with food coloring if you like, or also try adding some toppings. Strawberries or sanding sugar can add the red. Use marshmallows or whipped cream for the white. A drizzle of chocolate syrup makes the perfect central line. Delicious!
These Poké Ball waffles are a bit bigger than your standard Poké Ball, as they measure in at 7″ in diameter. With a Poké Ball that large, you’re sure to tame even the hungriest of Snorlax! Just make sure you make enough for everyone. When you’re down to the last waffle and have two hungry trainers remaining, the only sensible thing to do is have them battle it out for the final Waffle Championship. Mewtwo, I choose you!
