I know you think Science is boring and don’t want to study. You know what I bet would make it more fun? A Periodic Table with samples to make science feel more real!
The Periodic Table with samples may look like glass, but it’s actually an acrylic model. Encapsulated within the acrylic are small pieces of real elements found on the scientific table. This unique tool is ideal for visual learners and brings science to real life.
The Periodic Table with samples lets you experience real elements inside!
Bring home real elements without breaking the bank in this Periodic Table with samples. This unique scientific model contains real samples of elements to explore. Make learning more fun when you get to visualize the real thing!
While it looks like glass, this Periodic Table with real elements inside is actually made from acrylic. It’s the same crystal-clear view but won’t shatter if dropped (it can still chip or crack, though). At 6” wide x 4.5” tall x 1” thick, it’s an easy size to pack in a backpack for on-the-go study.
Each element is safely sealed inside the acrylic. The name, symbol, and number are all included around each one, just like a traditional Periodic Table.
A small microfiber bag is included for storage, to keep your table looking great for years to come.
Is the Periodic Table with real elements real?
Yes, the Periodic Table with real elements is real. The samples of the elements are hand placed and set into the acrylic.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity, which also tells a little bit about each of the samples.
Is a Periodic Table with real elements safe?
Yes, a Periodic Table with real elements is safe. Only the 83 stable elements are actually included in the table. Anything dangerous or illegal to possess is represented instead by a radioactive symbol.
Some more reactive elements are encased in glass tubes to prevent interaction or dissipation within the substrate. As long as you don’t break open the table and eat a sample, though, it’s considered completely harmless.
If you had grand plans of creating a time machine via Plutonium, then I’m sorry to report you’re out of luck. Marty and Doc are going to need a different method to get back to 1985!

Note that Fluorine is a reactive and dangerous gas, so it is represented instead using Fluorite, which is the crystallized mineral form.
Most other samples are pure, though a handful are considered “impure” as they have added trace materials or slightly altered chemistry to combat reactivity or shipping restrictions. This won’t change your ability to see and learn about them, but helps keep things safe!
