My wife heard about inflatable spas and wanted one so, after a week of research, I bought her this for her birthday. We have had it up and running for several days now and it seems better than advertised. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting a lot. And if you buy it thinking it will be like a 10K with jets all over, it won't be what you expect. But, I must admit, it is better than I thought it would be. If you follow the instructions (recommend also watching a youtube as you go), the set up is less than 30 minutes and easily under an hour.
CAUTION: make sure your drain plugs are tight before adding water!
Expect 1 1/2 - 2 days of warming your water, but after the initial warming it seems to be holding its temperature very well. On our first dip, we started with 102 and 20 minutes later with bubbles on were still 100-101. We set ours up in our sun room, so we have the advantage of it being in a warm room to begin with. Outside in cooler temps, the water would most likely cool more rapidly.
We did encounter 1 problem: the LED lights would not turn on. I contacts Intex by phone and went on the call back list. About 45 minutes later, they called me back. I told them the issue and .after verifying my purchase, sent me a verified claim for a new LED light. So I have to give Intex a thumbs up on service.
As for the spa itself, I would definitely recommend the 6 person over the 4 person, even if you only want it for 2 people. I'm not sure I would want 6 full sized adults in this; it seems it would be a bit cramped.
But the bubbles? Awesome! The 170 bubble outlets ring the perimeter of the spa base. The bubbles produced do massage and are quite soothing.
NOTE: if you are planning on placing this inside as we did, be aware, with your water at the recommended level, with 2 people in the spa, water will splash over the edge. Not a huge amount, but enough to produce a small puddle all around the spa. Placing in on tile is fine. Placing in on any kind of water absorbent floor covering - not so much.

We got it for our garage deck after having a building engineer give the green light to the additional weight. Spa manufacturers shut down during covid so deliveries of the real deal weren't possible for months, so we got this to hold us over. But honestly, I can ride this thing out longer than originally intended. It's incredibly sturdy. I'm about 130 lbs and can sit on the side. Like another reviewer said, my husband likes the headrest and I don't.
The cup holder is definitely worth it, as is the larger size. If you have the space and $$, get the six person. While it can technically fit six, it wouldn't be the most comfortable and everyone would have to keep their legs tucked in. It's wonderful for the two of us, and we can comfortably fit two more.
Be sure to get the bromine tablets, the ball to hold them, PH down, and additional test strips. I also recommend kicking it up to the full 104 as it will begin to lose heat. That temp also doesn't feel as hot as I thought it would. The weather has been in the 70s since we got it and after 1-2 hours of bubbles, it drops a few degrees.
I doubt it can maintain heat through a Chicago winter (even with those hacks other reviewers mentioned), but this will be our primary tub until we get the real deal later this year.

Not a bad idea to have a small separate pump and filter floating to clean that up.
Great unit otherwise!
Super pleased with it so far, and have been in it most evenings.
Have not tried the pillows yet, nor the drink holder we ordered separately. We did order the Intex seats but haven't received them yet.
Pool store near my home recommended liquid chlorine as it's not as smelly as the pucks or granules.
Loving this so far. Will check back in a month for status update.
